Taren joined The Reflective Horse® Faculty in 2023, bringing extensive experience in therapeutic consulting, trauma-informed program development, and somatic healing to support the continued evolution of TRH programs and practitioner education.

A Northern California practitioner specializing in somatic trauma work and equine-guided, body-centered healing, Taren is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Counseling on her path to becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Rooted in both Lebanese and Celtic lineages, her work thoughtfully weaves nervous system science with archetypal and earth-based wisdom.

A lifelong horsewoman, Taren's journey with The Reflective Horse® deepened when she completed the TRH Mastery Program in 2021. The experience expanded her understanding of the profound relational intelligence, sensitivity, and reflective wisdom of horses. Since then, she has apprenticed alongside Cassandra in facilitating the 2022, 2023, and 2024 TRH Mastery Programs and has continued to support the growth of the TRH community through mentorship and facilitation. Together with Laura Miller and Lauren Rohs, she also co-founded The Gateway, a trauma-informed equine retreat for women that integrates multiple healing modalities.

Through Ceremonial Breathwork, Shadow Alchemy, Equine Guided Empowerment®, and Somatic Reprogramming®, Taren supports people in reconnecting with their bodies and reclaiming the parts of themselves they were taught to abandon. Grounded in autonomy, choice, and relational attunement, she creates experiences that invite people to rediscover wholeness through authentic relationship—with themselves, with others, and with horses.
