Amanda Gentine

Amanda joined The Reflective Horse® Faculty in 2024, bringing her extensive background as an educator, curriculum designer, and facilitator to support the continued evolution of TRH programs and practitioner development.

Her partnership with horses began at the age of five in rural Wisconsin. After a career in education and many years living in several countries, Amanda moved with her family to Portugal, where she returned to horses and completed The Reflective Horse® Mastery program in 2020.

Guided by both her personal journey and the wisdom of her horses, Amanda established a farm outside Lisbon where her herd of mostly Portuguese Lusitano geldings live with her in freedom. Alongside raising her two young children, she continues to deepen her own embodied practice while supporting others in reconnecting with themselves.

Through Homeward, Amanda's work invites people to cultivate greater somatic awareness, release long-held patterns, and return to the innate wisdom that lives within them. With the horses as partners, she creates experiences that gently guide people back to their instinctual nature and authentic way of being.
