Taren is a Somatic Practitioner, Trauma Alchemist, Embodiment Educator, Storyteller, and Mystic. She is a TRH Practitioner and apprentice TRH Mastery Facilitator. A seeker of truth and a curious weaver of shadows, Taren joins us in integration, and a Trauma Informed perspective on our work as space holders. Through somatic healing, personal myth, and deep inner work, she helps people reclaim the parts of themselves they were taught to abandon. She guides others through their own transformation, helping them unravel the stories that keep them small, regulate their nervous systems, and alchemize their lived experiences into portals of wisdom, resilience, self-knowing, and sovereignty.
“If I were to tell the story of who I am, I’d start with the meaning of my name: Thunder. A Celtic name, like my ancestry— half Celtic, half Phoenician. The rumble. I don’t know if my mother knew that when she named me, but I do feel as if it has prepared me to — as Oriah Mountain Dreamer says — “stand in the center of the fire with you and not shrink back.”
I’m not afraid of storms— yours or mine. I’ve walked through the gauntlet of unlearning, grief, and rebirth. I know the dark places, the heavy moments, the parts of life we often avoid. And I know this: storms doesn’t come to destroy for the sake of destruction. They come to clear the air, to shake the ground just enough to make space for what’s next.
My work is grounded in extensive trauma-informed training. But more than that, it’s forged in lived experience— in reclaiming my own agency, rewriting my story, and learning to trust the wild wisdom of my body and spirit. That’s why I can stand with you in the storm without flinching, and help you find the ground beneath your feet when the air finally clears.”
