Amanda’s partnership with horses started at age five in rural Wisconsin. After a career in education and having lived in several countries, Amanda moved with her family to Portugal. There she reconnected with horses and completed The Reflective Horse® Mastery program in 2020. As her horses kept guiding the way, Amanda created a farm outside of Lisbon where her herd lives in freedom. Amanda continues to grow personally and professionally alongside her two young children and her herd of mostly Portuguese Lusitano geldings. Homeward’s offerings focus on deepening somatic awareness to release old limitations, and with the horses as guides, pointing people back to their intrinsic, instinctual wisdom.
