MOVING FROM EMBODIED CONNECTION — An exploration of Movement & Meditation with free-roaming horses

Join Annette & Cassandra in an exploration of movement and meditation with free-roaming horses.

Horses guide us in becoming practiced and aware of our human experience through being present in our bodies. We receive a clear reflection when we are seduced into the mental ideas or images in our head. Experiencing this place of stillness, the peace, connection and intelligence of nature that we really are, through embodiment, Is freedom & empowerment.

“If you cannot find the truth right where you are, where else do you expect to find it?”

Dogen Zenji

Annette Knopp: With 30 years of exploration, Annette is a seasoned guide in the realm of consciousness. She is a meditation teacher, nature mystic, and healer who mentors clients in their unique journeys of awakening and transformation. Since early on, she has had a deep love for Spirit which was nurtured by her connection with the natural world. Suffering from depression in her early twenties led her to seek relief in Eastern wisdom traditions and the practices of Yoga and Thai Chi. Annette draws from a rich background in the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi, Indo-Tibetan meditation, Shamanic energy medicine and modern Western modalities of psycho-spiritual integration (parts-work, interpersonal neurobiology, and sacred theatre). She is a mesa carrier in a nature priests lineage of the Peruvian Andes, a yoga teacher trained in various traditions, and a certified DARe-practitioner (somatic approach to repair attachment trauma). Originally from Germany, Annette worked as a simultaneous interpreter in Spain before following the call to explore in depth the essence of life, living in a number of different parts of the world. In 2009, her husband Stephan and Annette opened the Blue Spirit retreat center in Nosara, Costa Rica. To learn more about Annette visit her website, annetteknopp.com
