Cassandra Ogier

Cassandra is a respected member of the Equine Guided Education & Equine Assisted Learning communities, and is a leading name in the development of horse based personal reflection programs for adults and youth. She is a Certified Equine Guided Educator, EAGALA member since 2004 and trained with Gordon Training International in communication skills and conflict resolution. She brings together a team of accomplished and inspiring facilitators offering equine learning experiences through The Reflective Horse®, of which she is founder & director.

Prior to her founding TRH®, Cassandra trained in Stage Management at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London and worked in the UK film and theatre industry in Casting for over a decade. She has traveled and adventured extensively throughout her life and has raised three sons.

Cassandra is passionate about creating and implementing equine programs that inspire partnership and collaboration. She is co-founder of SheHerdPower, offering survivors of sexual assault and abuse access to Equine Guided Empowerment® experiences free of charge, and created & managed the first on-site Equine Therapy & Somatic Riding® Program in Southern California for youth in residential treatment for substance abuse & mental health challenges. Having developed the concepts of Somatic Riding® and Equine Guided Empowerment®, she believes in teaching through hands-on, nature-based experiences that honor the individual qualities of each horse and client. She is dedicated to creating and providing enriching human-development experiences through interactions with horses and nature.
